Life is your art. An open, aware heart is your camera. A oneness with your world is your film. Your bright eyes and easy smile is your museum. - Ansel Adams

An appreciation for beauty and the desire to record it on film began for me as a child. With parents from the mid-west and a career-Navy father, I had the opportunity to see America from coast to coast. I was fortunate to realize at a young age how remarkably beautiful the world around us is. From breathtaking sunrises and sunsets on the coasts of Florida to the magnificence of Niagara Falls to the stunning coast of California, memories of traveling as both a child and as an adult continue to inspire me today.

As a wife and mother, I'm continually inspired. Pete and I have been married 24 years and we have two children ... Jessy and Brad ... both in college.  They are our greatest blessings.  I am thankful every day for my soulmate - and the two loves of our lives.

Life is good, God is great, and I am blessed.

If I could have put it into words I would have written it down. But I couldn't, so I took a picture. - Anonymous

In the eyes of every child, every newlywed, every expectant mother, and every grandparent is an opportunity to capture a priceless and remarkable piece of history. And the magic of a photo is that it evokes a different emotion in each individual who sees it. Incredibly it may be a different emotion today than it will be in 10, 20 or 50 years from now.

And if these pictures have anything important to say to future generations, It is this: I was here. I existed. I was happy. And someone cared enough about me in this world to take my picture. - Anonymous

For me, photography is a continuous evolution, and I get as much satisfaction from looking back at pictures from long ago as I do from taking them today. I experience great joy in capturing an instant in time that might otherwise be forgotten, and I have an impulsive desire to do the same for others. Let's capture life - in both the everyday moments and the significant events so that it can be re-lived in your own unique way in years to come.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a thousand words can’t describe a good picture. - Anonymous
